Another candidate for Irelands most bizzare monument, Fenagh Beg dolmen sports a large quiff of leaves sprouting from the front of the broken capstonewhich gives it a slightly comical appearance. Only one portal stone remains intact, the other lies beside the chunk of capstone on the ground beside the tomb.

A view from the rear, the chamber is quite roomy inside and the tomb seems quite solid despite the damage.

From a distance, futher up form the tomb along the ridge are the remains of a small passage tomb, the chamber can still be seen in the form of stumps poking from the grass.

Visitors beware: The tomb lies in a field occupied by this guy, and he doesn't like to share!
