Tawnatruffaun Dolmen, County Sligo. AKA 'The Giants Griddle'.
Surely one of the best dolmens in Ireland, and maybe one of the least visited in recent times. This is due to its position in the middle of a plantation. Finding it is very difficult, as is the terrain, there are deep fissures in the heavy bog that makes the going tough and boots are recommended.

It is now built into a wall which could perhaps be made from the dolmens cairn, though it would seem hard to imagine covering such an elegant structure with a pile of rocks.
