The Burrens largest wedge tomb, and second only in size to Irelands largest wedge tomb, Labacallee, the capstone was shattered when a bonfire was lit on it to celebrate Clares hurling victory in 1955.

The view into the massive chamber from the rear, the sidestones are single slabs and the tomb has neat fitting front and rear slabs with a small entrance to the front and a small cut away at the rear.
