Unusually perched on the side of a hill, one of only two dolmens in Cork.

Ahaglaslin portal tomb is conspicuously located on the side of a steep ridge, just off the main road east of Rosscarberry. At some times of year it is almost covered in gorse and bracken but the landowner clears much of this away annually. As you can see it has a fringe of plantlife at the tip of the capstone, this only adds to the charm of this drunkenly leaning tomb.

From the front, clinging dangerously to the hillside with some creepy roots reaching out at you.

From the roadside you can see how this tomb sticks out clearly on the side of the hill as you pass.
