Berneens wedge tomb is located on a hillside with spectacular views of the Burren. The skeleton of this tomb appears quite complete from this side of the tomb but from the far side the chamber is completely exposed.

Just a short distance across from the almost complete tomb above are the remains of what must have once been a fine example of a wedge tomb, much larger than the other tombs in the vicinity. It was still quite complete in 1862.
