Megalithic Tomb enclosed by a very large henge of earth, with frequent entrances cut into the bank.
'The Giants Ring' is a massive earthen henge, the banks of which enclose an area 180 metres in diameter. Slightly off centre inside the henge are the remains of a passage tomb, though at first sight it looks more like a wrecked portal tomb or dolmen.
It is located off (and well signposted from) the A55 ring road south of Belfast City and there is ample parking right next to the henge itself.
