This small, charming piece of rock art was found by the landowner buried in a field. It was then moved to the gardens of Spahill house where it remains, thoughfully covered by a plastic basin to prevent weathering of the markings.
A cup and ring mark is joined with some linear grooves which encircle the face of the small boulder. The stone also features a rather unique deeply cut curved groove which is the only marking clearly visible in dull lighting, above this is another cup mark on the boulders edge.
