Clontygora Court Tomb would have once been a very fine example of this type of tomb, unfortunately the entire cairn has been robbed out (some used to build the Newry Canal). This has left the skeleton of the main entrance chamber and some fine standing stones that were once the court. The stones were well chosen, some are vaguely human in stature and two paired stones in particular stand out as having been positioned very deliberately.
