Eightercua stone row is a truly magnificent sight, greeting all visitors who pass in and out of Waterville viallge on the ring of Kerry and dominating the skyline on the ridge between the sea and Lough Currane. This four stone row is graduated in height from the tallest on the west at around three metres to the most eastern stone which stands at about two metres. Around the base of the stones is what looks like the remains of a ruined wall and a possible megalithic chamber.

Not unexpectedly, as this is the tourist trampled 'Ring of Kerry', the views are magnificent in all directions, it has also been reported that the stones are arranged such as to align with the setting winter solstice sun.
