Irelands tallest standing stone, reaching almost six metres in height.
Punchestown Standing Stone sits in a field just east of the famous racecourse and can be seen towering above from the road that passes by. It is now fenced off for protection and was re-erected in the last century after it fell over, losing up to a metre in height. A small kist was found at its base but this was found to be empty.
