This double court tomb is quite massive depsite having all of its cairn stripped away. Situated in a large clearing on a hilltop which once had extensive views.
From the rear of one of three chambers, this particular chamber is the only one where the lintel still rests over the portal stones. Even still, this one barely survives having broken in half and is held in place only by the inward pressure.
Looking down the outside wall of the court towards the double chambers to the rear of the site.
Located in a large but isolated clearing in a plantation which blocks the magnificent views this impressive tomb once enjoyed, this is one of Irelands largest court tombs and its three chambered design is quite unusual.
