This is a very attractive example of a five stone circle and though it is quite small in diameter like others in the Cork area, the stones that make up the monument are surprisingly large and blocky.
The ring is situated on a hilltop with fine views in all directions, miles away from the nearest town. Access to the circle is quite difficult, with quite a few fences, field walls and hedges to be tackled but depsite its trampled and cattle-rubbed appearance is a superb example of its type in an intact state.
