Straight from Lord of the Rings, this mysterious and moss-grown circle lies in an overgrown walled enclosure, overhung by trees growing all around and in the circle.
Down a country lane, off a narrow country road, this circle is just visible in a small, tree lined enclosure beside some abandoned farm sheds. The small moss covered stones and their long, low and sunken recumbent seem to be frozen in time.
There are eleven stones in total, some are hidden by trees in these pictures, none of the stones are over 1m tall but the recumbent is perhaps 2m long.
